Every year on the first Saturday of August, Abrazos and Books hosts a major event at the Wyndham Hotel, San Jose, CA. At this grand Award Reception Ceremony, twenty graduates chosen from Santa Clara County high schools, receive scholarship awards. This scholarship financially supports the recipients’ college education. The purpose of the scholarship is to change lives through education. Abrazos and Books selects students on basis of merit and need, independent of ethnic background. This year the Award Reception will be held on August 7, 2010. (Event Details)
